Iyengar Yoga is a powerful and sophisticated discipline, which can be practiced in all stages of life. The benefits are far-reaching, including healing and rejuvenating the body, and calming the mind and uplifting the spirit.
Classes are taught with care and compassion for each individual. Karuna has been teaching yoga since 1993 first in Hong Kong, now in Austin Texas. The studio is fully equipped with support for inversion practice, yoga wall ropes, soft bolsters for restorative poses, chairs, bricks, straps, trestle and sticky mats. You only need to bring yourself in comfortable clothing. It is advisable not to eat one hour prior to attending class.

Geeta Iyengar, daughter of B.K.S. Iyengar, was my teacher at the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute (RIMY) in Pune, India. On the right stands a statue of B.K.S. Iyengar that greets you as you arrive at the Institute.
